Birth Plan

Birth Plan – Hospital Bag List

Going into the birth having already thought about what matters to you, and being able to say it simply: that is all this app does. It asks the questions one at a time, keeps your answers, and lays them out as a clear document to hand to the team caring for you.

It is built for the third trimester — to stay usable when you are tired, one-handed, with nothing to set up first.

What is inside

A birth plan, one question at a time

Five themes — labor, coping with pain, the birth itself, the first hours, and particular situations. One question per screen, none of them required: answer in whatever order suits you, skip what doesn't speak to you, come back whenever. Any answer can be marked “to discuss with my midwife”, and you can highlight up to three essentials.

A document for your team

Your answers become a plain PDF that you share or print however you like. Your essentials come first, so they read at a glance.

Three hospital bag lists

One for the person giving birth, one for the baby, one for the birth partner. The lists adapt to the season, your expected length of stay and where you plan to give birth, so you are not checking off things that don't apply to you. You check items off as you go, and the app remembers where you left off.

What it does not do

It gives no medical advice. It never says one choice is better than another, offers no figures, and does not try to steer you. It puts your preferences into shape, and every theme is a reminder that all of it is to be discussed with the team caring for you. It replaces no conversation with a midwife or an OB. A birth plan stays an intention, not a fixed decision: on the day, you and your team decide.

Your data stays with you

No account, no password. What you write is stored on your phone, on no server, and we have no access to it. The PDF leaves the device only if you decide to share it. The app works offline; only the purchase and restoring it go through the App Store.

Anonymous usage statistics exist, but they are off by default and only turn on if you accept. They never contain your answers.

Price

The full questionnaire, the on-screen preview of your plan and the baby's bag list are free. A one-time purchase — not a subscription — unlocks the PDF export and the other two lists. There is nothing to renew, and you can restore it on a new phone. The exact price is the one the App Store shows in your country.
